How do I download the ProctorU browser?
The ProctorU Guardian browser is required for your remote proctor to monitor your exam. Please visit Download Guardian Secure Browser to download the version that is appropriate for your system.
What kind of technology is required to take the PREview exam?
The PREview exam must be taken on a desktop or laptop of your choice and you are responsible for ensuring it meets the workspace and computer requirements. Computer requirements are determined by ProctorU and can be found on their website. We encourage examinees to use the test-it-out function twice: once prior to exam day to ensure your equipment meets all of the specifications and then again on exam day to verify your technology, including your internet connection, is ready. If you do not test your system prior to your exam and have issues that prevent you from completing the exam after it begins, the AAMC will not refund your registration fee and you will not qualify for a regrant. You may not take your exam on a phone or tablet.
