The AAMC will continue to report scores through the 2019 AMCAS application cycle. Whether an individual medical school will continue to accept these scores through the 2019 AMCAS application cycle will depend on that individual medical school.

The AAMC conducted a survey about medical schools’ policies for accepting scores from the prior version of the MCAT® exam (administered from 1991 through January 2015). See the survey results.

Understanding Your Scores

Scores from the prior version of the exam (administered from 1991 through January 2015) include three individual section scores and a combined total score.
