MSIPI is a free 5-week summer enrichment program offering students an opportunity to engage in tailored programming at either a Native American-Serving Nontribal Institution (NASNTI) or a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). The program takes place at one of two partner institutions and offers students a chance to develop competencies for becoming successful applicants to health profession programs, plan academic journeys, get clinical exposure, and network. Students are encouraged to apply and benefit from this program as they explore a career in the health professions.
We're excited to share that this year, the MSIPI application is part of the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) application process! SHPEP is a free, six-week summer program that provides college students from diverse backgrounds with academic enrichment, clinical experiences, and career development opportunities in the health professions. With one application, you can apply to both SHPEP and MSIPI sites, selecting up to three locations in total across both programs. The deadline to submit your application for SHPEP and MSIPI is February 5, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET
