Reading the AMCAS Applicant Guide will give you an edge and make completing your AMCAS application much easier. You are also required to certify that you have read the AMCAS Applicant Guide when you submit your application.
Payment
The AMCAS processing fee for the 2025 cycle is $175 and includes one medical school designation. Additional school designations are $46 each. This fee may vary each application year.
The AAMC Fee Assistance Program assists those who, without financial assistance, would be unable to take the MCAT® exam or apply to medical schools that use the AMCAS application.
Fee Assistance Program eligibility decisions are tied directly to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' poverty level guidelines. For more information about Fee Assistance Program eligibility and benefits, please visit the Fee Assistance Program webpage.
Your AAMC Username and Password
If you have an AAMC username and password, you can sign in to the AMCAS application at any time. If you previously registered for the MCAT exam, MCAT Testing History, Fee Assistance Program, or a previous AMCAS application, sign in using the same username and password.
If you don't have an AAMC username and password, you must create one before starting the AMCAS application process.
