Program Information
Program Name: Tennessee State Loan Repayment Program (TSLRP)

Program Description: TSLRP provides educational loan repayment to qualified primary care practitioners.
Eligible Specialties: Primary care physicians (MD or DO), dentists, advanced practice nurses, certified nurse midwives and physician assistants, primary care behavioral and mental health psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse specialists, licensed clinical social workers, health service psychologists, marriage and family therapists, and licensed professional counselors.
Service Requirements: Two-year service obligation to practice full-time or part-time at an ambulatory public, non-profit or private non-profit primary care site located in a federally designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).
Deadline/Application Cycle: Application cycle is closed.
Amount: Eligible applicants can receive a maximum of up to $50,000 for an initial 2-year service obligation.  
Additional Information: TSLRP award amounts are determined by annual funding availability which may cause variations in the final award amount from year-to-year.
