| Program Description: The purpose of Minnesota’s Health Care Loan Forgiveness program is to recruit and retain health care professionals to needed areas and facilities in Minnesota. |
| Eligible Specialties: Residents in Pediatric, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Psychiatric, or OB/GYN programs or licensed physicians |
| Service Requirements: Serve 3 years minimum/4 years maximum in rural area. |
| Deadline/Application Cycle: Loan Forgiveness program cycle will open November 1, 2024. |
| Amount: Annual repayment amount: $29,000 |
| Additional Information: Participants are eligible to participate for up to four years in the program as a physician in a designated rural area. |
