Via the MedLoans™ borrower benefit program, a collaboration between the AAMC and ELFI, we are offering the EdMed loan product to medical students enrolled in LCME-accredited U.S. MD programs.
The collaboration features an accessible, nationally consistent loan option tailored to the unique needs of medical student borrowers. ELFI is a nationwide student loan provider and refinance program offered by SouthEast Bank and will originate loans through its EdMed loan product.
Medical students should always consult their financial aid office to understand the full cost of attendance and all available funding options, including federal student loans and possible grants or scholarships.

- Approved loan applicants enrolled in LCME accredited U.S. MD programs at schools that are Title IV eligible and not for profit will qualify for an exclusive interest rate reduction of 0.50% on their EdMed loan via this collaboration.
