The AAMC and the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) have a fee assistance program for Canadian examinees who register for the MCAT® and PREview® exams. Canadian examinees who qualify during an AFMC application period will receive the Fee Assistance Program benefits below.

Free MCAT Official Prep Online-Only Bundle, which includes all online MCAT Official Prep products. Recipients can access the products by visiting the MCAT Official Prep Hub and logging in with their AAMC credentials.

Consideration for financial assistance to obtain an updated evaluation to support an application for MCAT exam accommodations (For more information and instructions on how to apply, please visit aamc.org/accombenefit).
AAMC PREview® Exam Benefits
- Waiver for AAMC PREview professional readiness exam registration fees, for the first exam.
- 50% discount for subsequent registrations.
- Free PREview Scored Practice Exam, accessed in the MCAT Official Prep Hub.
How to Apply
Students interested in the Canadian fee assistance program can learn more about the eligibility criteria and application process and deadlines by visiting AFMC’s website. AFMC will review applications, determine eligibility for financial assistance, and notify awardees. Please note that benefits are not retroactive, and you must be approved prior to scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling your exam. Please note that the AAMC and AFMC reserve the right to discontinue the program.
