AMCAS® Application Policies

The American Medical College Application Service® (AMCAS®) application policies are established protocols for applicants and admission officers.
The 2020 AMCAS application is now open. If you wish to start medical school in Fall 2020, please complete and submit the 2020 AMCAS application. Please be sure to proofread your application before submitting. 
As of October 21, AMCAS is:
Marking transcripts as "Received" that were delivered on October 17.
Processing applications that reached "Ready for Review" on October 16. 
Processing Academic Change Requests submitted on October 18.

Fee Assistance Program

If approved for the Fee Assistance Program, you will receive a waiver for all AMCAS fees for one (1) application submission with up to 20 medical school designations ($930 value), submitted by December 31, 2020. Benefits are not retroactive.

2020 AMCAS® Application Fees

AMCAS® Processing Fee: $170 (includes one medical school designation). Additional medical school designations: $40 each.
