Recent Updates - March 25, 2021
This update is based on current information about the spread of COVID-19 and administration of the MCAT exam in 2021.
-
Registration for July-September exam dates will open on April 21 and 22.
-
Our goal is to provide examinees with at least 10 days’ notice if their exams need to be canceled. At this time, we anticipate that very few exams will be impacted, although there may be times when emergency cancellations are required. The AAMC will work with affected examinees to help them find a new test date as soon as possible.
-
We are continuing to waive all MCAT rescheduling and cancellation fees, so examinees can adjust their test dates to accommodate their preparation and individual health and safety needs. Please see our FAQs on Registration and Scheduling.
-
The AAMC will extend access to MCAT Official Prep products, purchased through the AAMC, through September 30, 2021 for all examinees whose exams were canceled due to the impact of COVID-19. Please visit our FAQ page for more information.
