Specialty Response to COVID-19
This residency selection cycle will be very different from previous seasons. Offers and information about new products, services and tools that programs may utilize during the recruitment season abound. Please note that it is to the benefit of programs and applicants alike that programs share any new tools they plan to use during the application season. If programs do not communicate that they are using a particular product/service/tool, they likely are not using it! To support the sharing of information, ERAS is reaching out to residency programs to encourage them to update any requirements for display in MyERAS, particularly if those changes occurred since the release of their specialty’s response to COVID-19 recommendations. If you remain uncertain, consider reaching out to the specific program with questions about their use of a new product/service/tool.
