COVID-19 Updates to the Accommodations Process

Developing a diverse physician workforce means being inclusive of individuals with disabilities. These individuals have a unique perspective and an important role to play in health care. The AAMC is committed to providing all examinees with an opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency on the MCAT exam, and this includes ensuring access for examinees with disabilities.

If you have a disability or medical condition that you believe requires an adjustment to standard testing conditions, we encourage you to apply for accommodated testing.

Visit our COVID-19 and the MCAT FAQ page for answers to your most frequently asked questions.

To learn about the application process, please visit the MCAT Accommodations Services homepage. You may also contact the MCAT Accommodation team for additional guidance at

Please see the accommodations page for future updates to the scheduling process.
